Emma has begun the UK tour of a french comedy called Lumières, Caméra, Action. It is the first show Emma has performed in French.
The play is based around the making of a supposed 'Big Budget' film 'King Kong in Paris' which is being directed by the most famous filmmaker in France. It starts with good intentions but as time passes the film turns into a disaster as more and more problems occur. The lack of funding and big names reduces the intention of a 'Blockbuster' into something quite different. How will they fare at the Cannes Film Festival?
Emma plays a number of roles in the play including Sandrine Poussin ("la plus belle actrice de France"), Nathalie - the casting director and a rather lazy, incompetent waitress.
